Installing resinous flooring over a ceramic tile and grout floor can be challenging. If you want to leave the tile in place it will need to be roughed up sanded grout roughed up more sanding and then the work of topping the tiles begins. Ceramic porcelain and unglazed quarry tile can take either latex or epoxy paint in one part pre mixed. If the tiles are glazed the gloss will need to be removed by grinding to allow the epoxy to grab hold.
