E46 Door Lock Actuator

I can only access the car by opening the drivers side door with the key.

However when unlocking the doors in either way the passenger door does not unlock. I finally got the think cracked open. When i cannot unlock or open the passenger side door i get in the car close my door start the car and press the central lock button a few times until i hear the driver side door lock unlock.
